Pan1c : a snakemake workflow for creating pangenomes at chromosome scale. Pan1c is a Snakemake workflow that simplifies pangenome creation by focusing on similar chromosome comparisons, using either PGGB or Minigraph-Cactus. A pangenome graph is first produced for each chromosome independently and then all these chromosome-level pangenomes are concatenated into a final graph, reducing building time through parallelization and simplifying interpretation and downstream analysis.
